Dosa and Chutny


Dosa

1. Iddli Rice( Ponni Rice)                        : 3 Cup

2. Uzhunnu Ball                                         :1 Cup

3. Fenugreek.                                             : 11/2 tspn

3. Salt                                                        : Required quantity


                      Put Iddli Rice and Uzhunnuball in seperate Vessels and clean them with water. Keep them in water for 2 or 3 hrs . First grind well uzhunnuball,fenugreek by adding 11/2 cup water and then grind rice by adding required water in the Mixie or Grinder until it becomes fine paste. You can add few water when this paste become thick.Then Add Salt . Mix these contents very well and keep aside for 5 - 8 hours to make Dosa( You can prepare Dosa batter in the Previous Evening or Night)  . After 5-8 hrs Dosa Mavu is Ready. 
Take a nonstickpan and put 1 Big spoon Dosamavu in the pan and spread it with the same spoon.Add Dalda or Ghee to Make Dosa into more Taste. Use a Tawa to seperate Dosa from the Pan. Put it in the Plate and add chutny . The remaining Dosamavu can be placed in the Fridge and can be used at another day.

Chutny

1.  Grated Coconut                                   : 1 Cup

2. GreenChilli                                            : 3 or 4 No.s

3. Small onion                                           : 2 No.s

4. Ginger                                                     : 1 very small piece( Gem's Toffee Size)

5. Salt                                                          : Required

6. Water                                                      : 1/2 Cup

7. Coconut Oil                                           : 2 Tablespoon

8. Mustard                                                  : 1 Tablespoon

9. Red chilly                                               :2 or 3 No.s

10.  Curry leaves                                       : Few

               Put 1 to 4 content and 1/2 cup water in the Mixi Jar and Grind for few seconds untill it becomes  fine paste and put in a small bowl. For seasoning, After heating the Oil Add Mustard,Red chilly and Curry leaves in a small pan. Add it to gravy and stir it well.

Delicious Dosa and Chutny is Ready
