Hyderabadi Chicken Curry

HYDERABADI CHICKEN CURRY

INGREDIENTS

1. Mixed Chicken- 500 gm
2.  Mint Leaves -  1 cup
3. Yogurt - 1 cup
4. Grated Coconut - 1 cup 
5. Ginger-Garlic Paste - 3 tsp
6. Ghee - 3 tsp
7. Ground black pepper - 3 tspn
8. Red Chili Powder - 11/2 tsp
9. Cumin Powder - 1 tspn
10.Coriander Powder - 2 tspn
11.Garam Masala Powder - 2 tsp
12. Fresh Coriander leaves - 1 cup
13. Salt to taste.

PREPARATION

Put the grated Coconut in a grinding jar. Grind or Blend into a smooth paste.In a heating pan add ground Coconut Paste.Add Mint Leaves.Add Ground Black Pepper, Red Chili Powder, Cumin Powder and Garam Masala Powder.Add Coriander Powder and Salt to taste. At this moment, also mix the melted Ghee and Fresh Yogurt.Mix all the Ingredients very well on low flame for few seconds and then add pieces of Chicken. Cover the pan and Leave to cook it for about 5 minutes on low flameAdd Ginger-Garlic Paste and mix well.Cover the Chicken and leave to cook it for few more minutes on low flame. When the Chicken is almost done, then garnish the cooked Chicken with good amount of chopped Coriander Leaves. Cook for one more minute and Turn the flame off.
